Harvested on October 9, the grapes come from a vineyard on the east side of Windsor in the Russian River Valley.
Originally planted before Prohibition, the vineyards are made up of Zinfandel, Muscat and French Colombard.
The French Colombard was pressed and fermented in neutral French oak using native yeasts for five
months and was the first wine to be fermented in the Buena Vista wine caves since 1989.
