2012 Shea Wine Cellars Pinot Noir Block 7 Shea Vineyard

See wine details

Prototypical Shea: rich and dark, sporting outstanding intensity. A melange of berries, violet, truffle, and cola spice usher you in to a generous Pinot noir that coats your palate while little fireworks of spice pop through the finish. Like the West Hill, Block 7 can be opened and enjoyed, though I recommend holding it for a couple years (or more), as I know it'll develop additional complexity, richness, and weight. Block 7 is planted entirely to the Wadenswil clone of Pinot noir.
