From release newsletter:

2013 Sonoma County Zinfandel
Our Sonoma County Zinfandel continues to over-deliver, way over! All the components in this rendition, save for 2% Petite Sirah, come from vines planted between 1895 and 1934. It includes vineyards such as Saitone, Montafi, Bedrock, Papera, and Pagani. Not too shabby, eh? I suspect most wineries would slap “Reserve” on the label and charge at least $50 a bottle but as many of you know, we are not like most wineries. We enjoy providing quality and value to our customers. Aged mostly in older, neutral French oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Like our 2013 Sonoma County Syrah, absolutely crazy QPR!
Tasting Note: Medium-dark to dark purple-ruby. A deep, concentrated nose of raspberry and cherry with a subtle note of baking spices lurking in the background. No mistaking this for anything but classic Zinfandel. On entry, supple with tremendous symmetry between fruit, alcohol, tannin, and acid. Like so many of our other 2013s, the balance is breathtaking. My favorite Sonoma County Zinfandel we’ve produced to date. Enjoy from release through 2021.
