2007 Jean Edwards Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard

See wine details

From the producer:

Tasting Notes: Our flagship wine, our 2007 offering is wonderfully balanced with good acidity and structure while remaining luscious and velvety in the mouth. This vineyard consistently produces wines of the highest quality and the 2007 vintage showcases the best characteristics it has to offer. Dark fruit notes of black cherry, cassis and plum combine with a thread of mocha in the mid-palate. The dark fruit nose is layered with a whiff of crème brûlée. This is a stunning wine and while approachable in its youth will continue to gain complexity with bottle aging.

Vineyard Info: Stagecoach Vineyard is located high on the eastern slopes of Napa Valley on Soda Canyon Road. Owned by the Krupp Family, over 700 acres are planted to several varietals amidst various terrains and micro-climates. Our fruit is sourced from a high elevation, premium block located on Pritchard Hill with well-drained, rocky volcanic soil.
