  August 27, 2022 - Well made. Blackberry nose. The palate has up front fruit and then it's clear that the wine is thin for a Vintage Port. OK, but just that. LBV Quality. 2006 was a tough vintage due to rain, so this is successful for the vintage. Next day, some definite improvement! Med+ bodied. Again strong forward fruit. The thin character now has filled in those gaps. Med. long finish. Excellent acidity. Very smooth on the palate and ready to drink now. Just the smallest of heat... which I do like.
