  October 3, 2022 - All estate fruit. 92% Cab. 7% Merlot, 1% Petit Syrah. Decanted 3-1/2hrs. Room full of fruit when returned to bottle. Some heavy sediment. Steely hard, but a return to CDV of older times. Not as nuanced as previous vintages - attributed to lack of Cab Franc in blend - but still very good. The Napa bottling is, at this stage, drinking better than the Reserve.
