October 31, 2022 - Last tried 3 years ago, a bit of bottle age has done wonders. This wine is fresh and vibrant and in no way overdone. Aromas are powerful and integrated. The oak remains but does not overpower. New leather, menthol, blackberry and plum and deep vein of stone minerality and fresh cut grass adding freshness. Palate is medium bodied with pronounced mid palate acidity and presence from the warming alcohol. Flavours of mint and ripe black fruit last long on the finish. Beautiful now. Drink to 2027.
