November 1, 2022 - Bordeaux tasting - with a few pirates: I just could not get a feel for this wine at all. I wouldn’t even know how to score it. It really just offered next to nothing in the fruit department and was overly linear and strict. It wasn’t abrasive by any means, but it just never woke up. Whether it is dead forever or in some catatonic state, there was no budging here.

11/1/22, 9:51 PM - I hope it does wake the heck up one day, but like you, I have concerns it may just be a dud, especially in terms of fruit expression. Nothing to do but wait for those holding bottles I guess, cuz right now is definitely not the time regardless.

11/2/22, 4:02 PM - This is another of my fav Bdx houses, but alas, I'm not a fan of this vintage getting better with age. At 18 yo it was a 96 for me personally, and at 20 yo it was at best a 92. I think it's time may have passed......
