  December 22, 2005 - Beautiful clean and dark ripe fruit on the nose with notes of graphite. Expansive in the mouth with a large but soft body and wonderfully ripe tannins. This wine is not ready to drink! While the tannins are developed and rich, they are not integrated with the fruit or oak. Give it a few years and this will be awesome. At this price, buy a case and start drinking in about 3 to 4 years. My only complaint: with aeration, some alcohol on the nose. It's underneath so it doesn't really detract from the richness of the fruit, but it's there. It's not bad enough to keep me from getting more.
