December 17, 2022 - Was best on pop. Nose of cherry and brambled stems probably from 30% stem inclusion. A bit heavy on the oak treatment (80% new) that contributes to the muddled stewed-ness as this saw air. Not much tannin, decent acidity and almost sugary on the palate. Finish is okay but not GC length. The initial nose was really good and even had some spice, but just got worse over time and got heavy-handed / clumsy. A decent drink, but just not worth the ~$180 retail price
