  January 12, 2023 - Not nearly as good as on prior tastings. Not sure if that's bottle variation or that this wine just drinks better when young...future bottles may answer that question. Plum, black cherry, compost, espresso and olive on the nose. Satin texture, succulent dark fruit, with baking spice and espresso. Tannins needed some time to calm down, even with a 1.5h decant.
