  February 18, 2023 - Solid effort. Drinking well and lots of life left. Decant changes the outlook. At the onset it’s classic dusty cherries but after it blows over it really becomes more focused on tomato vine and stewed tomatoes with hints of spice and floral notes. Green herbs all around. There’s a fair bit of grip on in the palate but it smoothes out for the finish. Not sure there’s much improvement but it’s a good QPR you can drink now or lie down for another 3-7 years. Excellent with pasta. 92.
