March 25, 2023 - Meh...group of friends joined me to drink Magnum of Delas Tourettes. Everyone thought the price point was way to high ($160.00) Why does the wine bottle say 2015 but the cork says 2017? Very disappointing.

3/25/23, 2:01 PM - I had this very same question about the cork concerning a different 2015 Delas Freres wine. I contacted the winery and here is their reply:
"Further your question, we inform you that we don't write any year of vintage on our corks.
The number 2017 you have seen on this cork is a traceability number of the cork provider.
You have well drunk a Cornas "Chante Perdix" 2015. It is a very nice vintage, we hope you have enjoyed it."
It is really stupid to have a cork traceability number that can easily be mistaken for vintage.
