  May 9, 2023 - The colour is slightly muted ruby - light in hue - but the nose is bouncy and bright raspberry juice: unmistakeable aromas of Grenache Noir. (I read the 60% Grenache is complemented by 20% Carignan and 20% Cinsault.) I can't detect any oak - it's all about lovely, light, juicy, raspberry fruit, with a hint of something darker on the finish. No appreciable tannins, and acidity that keep the whole experience clean and fresh. Wow, this is a perfectly made wine, and pure joy to drink by itself and with a little Gouda. I'm going to try the rest of the bottle slightly chilled. Cork, 14%.

  5/11/23, 12:09 PM - The second half of this bottle were beautiful chilled - even better than at room temperature, I think. Chilling mutes the aromas slightly, and pushes the tannins slightly more to the fore, but it's absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. This wine is a find!
