Nose of oyster shell and sea spray.
What strikes in the mouth is the incredible salinity that dominates in this wine. The juice is pure, racy, without falling into the straightness of many Blanc de Blancs champagnes. Everything is chiseled in this wine, the effervescence is fine, the acidity is traceable, in the service of the balance of the wine. Nice tonic on the sea spray with a nice length.
Excellent, especially given the unfavorable conditions of the 2011 vintage in champagne.582 views
