  May 18, 2009 - Color- Ruby interior with garnet rim. Amazing for a 45 year old wine. Smell- Forest floor, rich strawberry compote, earth. Palate- dried red fruits, a bit of funk, dried leaves, dried roses. I was sure this was going to be past its peak but was proved delightfully wrong.
