  September 3, 2023 - Popped and poured. This is excellent. For the money, it's incredible. Pretty, brilliant ruby-purple certainly looks the part. Red legs are just a tad thin. But the nose. Oh, the nose! On second pour into the glass, this has released the most marvelous perfume of violets, cassis and red fruit. The mouth has come alive as well, and really delivers the goods. This wine has it all: Fruit, balance, richness, charm, beauty. One of the best '16s I have had to this point, given its current showing. 4-14-17-9: 94/100.
