October 8, 2023 - The nose is still a little reductive to start but this blows off with a few minutes in the glass. This is still surprisingly a bit early on its arc of maturity and expands on the palate, offering a delectable, supple, sumptuous yet elegant raspberry, wild strawberry, and rose profile, buttressed by a little cedar. With tannins that are already civilized and a relatively short finish, it seems sensible to think about starting in on these in earnest in about 2-5 years and drinking them over the following 20 or so.
