October 14, 2023 - Not flawed as last week's bottle was. Enjoyed over 1-2 hours after the pnp. Red/black fruited with a slightly tart aftertaste. Balanced otherwise. More bottles to go in the cellar. We'll see how they play out over time.

10/15/23, 5:49 AM - Still a bit of structure. I spent about 4 hours going over it. The taste profile just never seemed to float my boat. Nice but nothing special. Rather pedestrian. The one bottle of '19 I had back in January was so much better at a 93 and had a much better taste profile too, imo.

10/15/23, 6:00 AM - Thanks that is good to know. The one time I tried the ‘18 it took a lot of coaxing but sounds like it never got there. I haven’t tried ‘19 yet, glad to hear it is better!

10/15/23, 6:11 AM - Yeah, I'm not sure the '18 is ever going to get there. It was their first vintage I believe so probably some first time mistakes. '19 is def better. I passed on their recent offer of '21s due to these inconsistencies.

10/15/23, 7:19 AM - I passed on the 21’s too bc I am trying not to buy anymore (I hear you laughing all the way from Naples to Atlanta) and there is a really high bar now if I am going to purchase anything. Unfortunately bc I would like to support newer winemakers like this.
