  October 1, 2023 - My second bottle which CT advises to have by 2023. Deep burgundy color and no bouquet. Really solid cork and pop and cork end is a very light cerise hue. Very slight acidity. A softer wine but by no means dilute. Very nice. A great food wine comparable to many food friendly Italian wines, but nothing like them in grape taste. Not old or past prime or otherwise hobbled from age. It's only 5 years old. More is revealed, including gamay flavor, upon swishing in mouth. After reading previous notes I refrigerated. Other reviewers say tannic and high alcohol and I didn't experience this. It is nothing special but is very agreeable to me. Legs again slow to develop but run medium fast this time. I find myself liking these wines. Worth buying again. Ready now.
