  October 24, 2023 - Comments from others on CT were somewhat brief, and now I understand why. This was one that got buried in the cellar and missed out on its youthful, bright, most merlot-like qualities. What's left at the 12 year mark is stewed plums and dark cherries. The word "flat" has been used a few times and I agree, the finish is very short and flavorless. I'm sure this was a much better experience at 2 years old. Today, it's really not worth drinking. Maybe try a modern Swanson vintage to see what they are all about.
