November 2, 2023 - Tasted at the cantina.
Another legendary Barolo in the making hitting all the right notes. Like most of the other 2019s I had so far there is a lot of structure here with a rather vertical bouquet. It convinces with red fruit, sour cherries and a touch of wild strawberries, violets as well as a whiff of blood orange I enjoy so much and often get in Maria Theresa's Barolos.
This delicate wine has so much inner strength and ultra refined tannins, it will be exciting to see how it will develop with appropriate bottle age (give it at least 5-10 years) but its always important to try those wines in there youth.4 people found this helpful 3,862 views
