  November 12, 2023 - medium garnet in color. dried rose and little menthol on the nose. beautiful and abundant cherry fruit with some spice and earth tones. wonderful balance of acidity and medium grained tannins. all of the varietal characteristics of Nebbiolo are captured in this wine. the wine opened up beautifully after about an hour in the glass and was surprisingly great to drink. nice complexity even at this young age. traditional barolo with a fantastic future. see you in 12 years..........from a producer that somehow manages to still fly under the radar. met with him last year for a wonderful tasting. this is how barolo should be made.........
