  November 22, 2023 - Still going strong 20 years in. Slight brick coloring but inky purple in the bowl. Plenty fruity and earthy aromas. Lush mouthfeel, tannins rounded but present. Pretty high alcohol level (14.5%!) but not overblown. Not going to win any awards for subtlety, but a very good well-aged wine and perfect with a hearty, beefy meal.
