  December 9, 2023 - Decanted 45 minutes before service - could have used another hour. In the glass, medium ruby red at the rim, shading gracefully to dark, opaque red at the core, still quite youthful in appearance. On the nose, cherries, nutmeg, and a touch of anise. On the palate, very fruit forward - for a central coast PN, stylistically this could easily pass for an RRV from that timeframe, big and lush. The tannic structure kicks in on the finish.
