December 10, 2023 - This is a stellar example of young Chianti at its best. It pours a deep, inviting ruby, with an aroma rich in black cherries and damsons, accented by a touch of oak and earthiness. Not completely typical of Chianti Classico. However a superbly balanced rascal.

The palate is a journey through Tuscany's heart, where ripe brambles, cherries and blackberries meet hints of tobacco and a smoky whisper, giving a fine nod to the time it spent in oak barrels. This vintage currently displays a vibrant, albeit overpowering young fruitiness. The tannins, though prominent only if you really look for them, are well-crafted. Elegance and complexity are woven throughout, with a finish that lingers gracefully.

This wine promises a beautiful evolution over the next 15 years or more. While enjoyable now for its fruity and youthful character, patience will unveil its full potential, transforming it from a delightful drink to a profound experience.
