  December 7, 2023 - Un-named Atlanta Wine Tasting Group - High End Reds; 12/7/2023-12/10/2023 (Beebe House): Wine #4 in blind tasting of 7 "high-end" red wines paired with grilled NY Strips and Grilled Beef Filet Mignon.
  
  Loved this. Black in the glass. On nose, cassis, sweet cherry, blueberry, honey, huckleberry (?) and saline notes - very complex. Palate had similar flavor profile ex saline & honey. Medium body, medium+acidity, medium tannins and very long finish.
  
  I guess a California Cab blend with some Syrah (clearly I was wrong). I am too cheap to buy some of these higher end Napa wines but I would buy this. It was a treat to drink. I gave it a 95-96 rating. This scored #2 out of 7 for the group and was my personal favorite of the night -humorous as I tend to prefer Old World wines.
