  December 18, 2023 - The Chaleur 2016 checks in as a blend of 64% Cab, 24% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
  The nose starts off generous with sumptuous notions of chocolate imbued black berries, sweet spices, candied orange, and earth enveloped by delicate yet pungent impressions of lavender and rose.
  On the palate, supple and velvety, offering purity and precision. Equally weighty and agile, with lots going on in the mid palate.
  This is a wine of compelling depth and finesse.
