  December 24, 2023 - Color/App: fairly youthful appearance at eight years of age: light/medium straw yellow core with a touch of gold tinting. Bouquet of lemon zest, grapefruit, marzipan and champagne-like autolytics. Palate needed a little time to unfurl and warm towards room temp. Full bodied with notes of lemon/lime, almonds, golden raisins and golden apples. Melon de Bourgogne grapes given Chardonnay-like treatment. At peak now and probably for at least a couple/few years. Not for everyone but I just love this stuff and how well it ages.
