Community Tasting Note

December 28, 2023 - If you have any bottles of 2015 Luciano Sandrone Le Vigne in your wine cellar, leave them there. Despite my better judgement I made the mistake of opening my bottle. It is a tannin bomb that needs many years of cellaring before it can be drunk. I'm not sure what the CT community is tasting, and my advice is hands off.

12/28/23, 2:26 PM - If all the reviews are positive and your experience was negative then maybe it was an off bottle? Sandrone usually makes his wines, especially Le Vigne, so that they can be consumed on the youngerish side. And 2015 is a vintage that was quite warm but well managed by a lot of top producers and is generally approachable now, at least for the modernish producers. I hope you have better luck with the rest of your 2015 Le Vignes!
