Seeing these on sale recently, I bought 7, hoping my initial impression had been correct. As it turns out, I think I underrated it initially. It's just killer. This wine just has excellent poise and balance. It has richness but enough energy to remain light on its feet. There is oak but it supports rather than intruding. Love it, and going back for more before the sale ends.
