  January 13, 2024 - Oh my, this is a terrific wine that is marred by a terrific amount of brett. Yes, a riper year and has the ripe, rounded fruit to show for it, but in no way over the top. Medium bodied, pulsing with a thrum of bright, crunchy, and chalky red fruit (strawberry-raspberry), ripe red pepper, pipe tobacco, stony minerals, and a very long, silky sour-and-salty cherry finish. And of course, band aid on the nose, clove spice and barnyard on the palate. 91 for me (med-high tolerance for brett), probably 76 if you have a low tolerance for brett, and 94 if you have an ultra high tolerance for brett.
