February 9, 2024 - Translucent ruby. Nose of pristine, soaring pine forest, rich berry, lovely florals, crushed stone. Layers of satiny but brilliant red raspberry, black cherry, iron hints, and powdered rock on the palate. Fresh acidity and softened tannin. Long finish of spicy red fruit, iron, and rinsed stone. Oh yeah this is most excellent Volnay.
