  February 11, 2024 - Composite cork made with cork fragments. A two prong opener began to push the cork in, so switched to corkscrew, and extracted no problem. Nice ruby color. Another taster remarked good bouquet, and flum flavor. Nice wine, elegant, and definitely Oregon. The closest California pinot style to this might be Martinelli, but only in passing. Good mouthfeel, but the fruit seemed either muted or subdued, and made me wonder is this wine at 8 years was past prime and fading? But it just required time and air. It was slow to reveal, and was consumed before I could evaluate additional glass time. Still, a very worthy purchase from a better than average Oregon producer.
