  February 21, 2024 - Decanted before drinking. Tight and one-dimensional at first but started singing after 1.5 hours and stayed the course for the next 3-4 hours. Great complexity - plum, cherry, vanilla, and spice notes abound. Medium-bodied and tannins have integrated nicely. Still plenty of fruit left.
  
  I’m sure this wine has the legs to further age and improve, but have no regrets about opening and enjoying this bottle. Will open my second and last bottle in about 5 years.
