  February 28, 2024 - 2nd dinner at La Bicyclette. More advanced into the secondary and tertiary phases than anticipated. At 16% abv this isn’t a shy wine, and the alcohol shows throughout. Heavy dose of black licorice and ripe black raspberries with some ripe peaches in the finish. A bit unbalanced at this stage. Just too heavy on the alcohol and a bit too ripe. This is still a very young winery, and it will be interesting to see it develop. Drink now to 2028. Worth Seeking Out.
