  March 8, 2024 - Deep aroma with loads of dark fruit, spice and vanilla - the oak influence is apparent. Thick, dense and concentrated flavor with mostly stewed black and blue fruit (plums, prunes and blueberries). Licorice, baking spice and dark chocolate on the finish. Good presence and texture - loads of acid, tannins and alcohol. Almost sweet and chewy? Very complex.
  
  This wine is clearly built for the long haul and it barely showing any age. Reminds me of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape in a way. I wish I had another bottle to revisit in 10+ years, I’m sure this wine is going places, it’s just not there yet.
