  March 28, 2024 - Cork removed without issue. No evidence of any seepage, Color -deep dark red edge to opaque purple. Strong initial nose of stewed fruit - secondary nose of tomato, basil/herbs, and cedar. Palate- heavy, full bodied wine with a creamy texture, berry and vegetal/green leafy/herb notes on palate and into finish with soft tannins noted. Despite the ABV of 15.5%, I did not find any problematic alcoholic heat to note. Finish was medium to long. I am neutral on this wine. Overall, It is good (and interesting -with some complexity), but doesn't have a flavor profile or structure that I prefer.
