March 30, 2024 - 1/12 Following on from the Morey en Rue de Vergy at the start of the month, this is deeper, darker and denser. Lovely full deep ruby. Dark red fruit, a touch of black. Finely velvety with good weight.Density to the fruit, this is more serious and brooding, less immediate elegance and elan than the the eRdV. Certainly in the early stages of approachability, but I’ll be making inroads into the village wine while this one slumbers. ***(*)
