April 9, 2024 - Popped and poured. Beautiful orange colour, garnet never again, translucent with watery edging. On the nose the intensity of the Monastrell grape has been nuanced by the pass of time. Marked aromas of red grapes, liquorice, blackberries, slight reminiscence of old wood in the form of spices, flesh or even a light blow of sea salt. Excellent complexity for what it really is. Power returns on the palate but much more softened and therefore accessible. Serious, gastronomic acidity with a glyceric, firmly tannic finish of the vegetable branches. High alcoholic strength (14.5 ABV) well integrated. Maybe only your head will notice it after a few hours.
Descorchada y escanciada. Bello color anaranjado, nunca más granate, traslúcido con ribetes acuosos. En nariz la intensidad de la uva Monastrell ha sido matizada por el paso del tiempo. Marcados aromas a uva tinta, regaliz, moras negras, leve recuerdo a madera vieja en forma de especias, carne fresca o incluso un golpe ligero a sal marina. Excelente complejidad para lo que realmente es. Al paladar vuelve la potencia pero mucho más suavizada y por lo tanto accesible. Seria acidez gastronómica con un final glicérico, firmemente tánico del raspón vegetal. Alto grado alcohólico (14.5%) bien integrado.
