April 18, 2024 - Decanted. Now 2.5h after decant. Really right after opening. Now shy aromas of blackberries, brambles, hint of olives and roasted meats. Palate w ripe blackberries, herbs, bark, roasted meats, earth and a hint of black olives. Full body with medium+ tannins. More coffee on the midpalate. Nice acids. Nice finish of coffee, earth, bark and blackberries. This is still tight and I suspect is beginning to shut down. But there's really good material herem I think this will be great in another 7-10 yrs. 90+ for now.
