  April 19, 2024 - Rich and opulent; classic California styling. Lots of sweet tropical and ripe orchard fruits with dominating buttery oak, vanilla, and spice. Definitely “fat” with acidity completely buried by the ripe fruits. Weak finish. Disappointing given the pedigree. Drink now, unlikely to improve with further cellaring.
