April 27, 2024 - Dinner at B&A: Blind. Pale straw. Fragrantly floral nose, mineral but with a sense of subdued richness too. Strong familial resemblance to its partner, this one seemingly riper. Both served quite cold. As they warm and open over a couple of hours, the initially fatter 16 gains sharper line and the riper fruit notes transition to a more herbal minerality with juniper and pine sap providing real interest and visceral grip. This is lovely - so glad we saved some in glass and revisited. Suspect we’ve not quite given it long enough to shop at its best, but there’s less of a gap between this and the 15 than previously. ****
