  September 18, 2023 - WSET Teaching Level 3 for Burgundy (Stellenbosch): (Tasted Blind): A bright, light to mid-crimson colour with purple flashes. Fairly intense nose showing bing cherry, fresh strawberry, banana bubblegum, earth and sweet spice yet with a savoury edge.
  A soft entry with creamy texture transitions towards cough syrup, kirsch and Bing cherry compote. Despite this, the wine is dry, with no sweetness, and has a vibrant acidity. Focussed with sweet-coated fruit tannins and plenty of depth, it is long and very approachable.
