  September 5, 2022 - Atkin 95+ Tasting Event (and dinner wines) (Strauss Auction, Cape Town (and Jo'burg)): Lifted aromas similar to previous wine but more darker fruits that lead to a richer entry with layers of darker chocolate and an array of berries, including blackcurrant. These elements are intensely woven together, creating a finely knit structure. An extremely smart wine that has depth, with more power and tannic drive (denser tannins) than the previous wine if a tad less sophisticated (but just a tad!).
