  May 10, 2024 - Straight out of the bottle, the 2010 Langoa shows a nose of red and black cherry, cedar, rose, and moist black earth. This is still working on eating its oak and though that process is mostly complete, it will be quite a long wait for the tannins to mellow. The finish here is intensely cedary. This is a slow-burning Langoa which will takes a couple of decades to really show what it’s capable of doing.

  Kidding aside, sounds fantastic. Hoping I'm around in 20 or 30 years to enjoy at its peak.
