    September 16, 2009 - OMFG. Had only 1 bottle so I wasn't sure what to expect. Beautiful mature cal cab. Floral woody somewhat spicy nose; clean and typical of nice mature cab. Like a basket of really nice berries, mellow scandalwood and vanilla. Really the kind of nose I was looking for today. Follows on the palate with mellow evolved fruit. Great balance to me. Good acid keeps the wine in check, fruit has evolved, thinned and gone secondary but in great harmony with the rest of the wine. Mellow tannins around the mouth with balanced acidity. Good evolved fruit - imagine young Cal fruit more mellow and with some chalk. This wine has to be peaking right now for my taste. Would deserve a higher score if there was more complexity on the palate. I wish I had another
