  September 20, 2009 - Brought to a tasting with our wine group, and it was a bit disappointing. Might be in a sleepy stage, but didn't show as much concentrated fruit as expected, was a little thin, with a hint of green to it. Nice, full bodied wine with a satisfying medium finish, but for this producer and the scores it has gotten, the result didn't quite live up to the expectations. Since we got this bottle recently from a retailer in Boise, Idaho, I leave open the possibility of poor storage conditions or bottle variation to explain the sub-par showing.
