  December 5, 1990 - Regional Wine and Sprit Rare Wine Tasting: more youthful looking than the Petrus 1970 - still some dark red tones. On the nose not as compelling as the Petrus 1970 (perhaps due to the amount of CS?) - some vanilla, licorice, smoke, earth and VA. The wine has a velvet texture, not great structure and is not very long - seems a bit watery in the finish - showing its tannins - drink up.
