  April 8, 2006 - Wow - this is not showing any age whatsoever. Incredible nose and palate. Somewhat monolithic - mostly dark fruits - but intense, rich, mouthcoating, unctuous - take your pick of descriptors. There was almost an element of something "overripe," but it didn't detract at all from the wine. Hard for me to believe this is a Zin from the '01 vintage given how youthful it is.
